Iran criticizes talks with the United States on its nuclear program after Israeli attack: "They are pointless."
Iran has said nuclear negotiations with the United States are "pointless" following the Israeli attacks, although it is unclear whether Tehran will attend Sunday's indirect talks with the United States.
You cannot say you are negotiating and at the same time divide the work by allowing the Zionist regime (Israel) to attack Iranian territory.
"The other side (the US) acted in a way that makes dialogue meaningless," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said in a statement reported Saturday by Iranian media.

"You can't say you're negotiating and at the same time divide the workload by allowing the Zionist regime (Israel) to attack Iranian territory," the diplomat said.
However, the ministry spokesman later added that it is unclear whether Tehran will attend Sunday's indirect talks with the US, the Tehran Times reported.
Baghaei said Tel Aviv “has been successful in influencing” the diplomatic process and asserted that the Israeli attack would not have occurred without Washington’s permission.

Iran and the United States have held five rounds of indirect negotiations, sponsored by Oman, since April 12 amid significant disagreements over Iran's uranium enrichment, which Washington wants to halt.
The last round of talks took place on Friday, May 23, and a new round of negotiations was scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, in Muscat, which is in jeopardy following Israeli attacks on Persian military and nuclear facilities.

Iran responded last night with at least three missile attacks against Tel Aviv, killing three people and wounding some 38, according to the Jewish state's press.
These bombings against around 100 Iranian targets killed the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Salami, and the head of the Guard's Aerospace Force, General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, among other military officials.
Another 78 people died and 320 were injured in the attacks.
In total, Iran has so far fired 200 missiles in four waves and launched more than 200 drones at Israeli territory, while Israel has responded with more than 150 attacks on Iranian territory, an Israeli military official said in an online meeting with international media.
The source emphasized that "the road to Tehran is open" and that the Israeli fighter jets deployed in this air offensive have a safe route to operate in its airspace.

Among the Israeli targets was Iran's main uranium enrichment plant, Natanz, which was damaged, along with the Ford plant, as well as air and military bases.
In fact, this Saturday Israel launched a new wave of attacks against at least four locations in Iranian territory, according to Iranian media.
In the northwestern city of Tabriz, Israeli forces struck at least four locations, the Fars news agency reported.

Press TV showed videos of plumes of smoke in this city, the capital of East Azerbaijan province. It is unknown what Israeli targets are in that area.
Attacks were also reported in Kermanshah and Khorramabad, both cities in western Iran.
In addition, early this morning, a bombing raid was carried out on Tehran's Mehrabad Airport, which serves domestic flights.
According to IRNA, the attack in Mehrabad targeted a fighter jet hangar, but despite being hit by shells, "it did not affect the runways, buildings, or facilities."
